RLCM Church Directory: We are planning on working on putting a RLCM Church directory together. There are forms that you can fill out with your name, address, phone number, and email address.
Catechism: We will be meeting for Confirmation at Christ Lutheran Church on Gastown Rd this year for all the classes. Our classes are on Wednesday from 5:00 pm with dinner and end at 6:30 pm. If you would like to know a schedule please talk to Pastor Joyce or Pastor Matthew. Please note that beginning on March 10th, Catechism will be on Monday evening during Lent.
Bible Studies: There are four opportunities in the RLCM for Bible Study. Pastor Matthew has Bible Study on Thursday at Christ Rupp at 1:00 pm, and at St. Mark's on Thursday at St. Mark's at 6:30 pm. Pastor Joyce will have Bible Study on Tuesdays at 1:00 pm at Christ Lutheran and on Saturdays at Country Junction in Smicksburg. (They have buckwheat cakes) Come and Join us.
NALC Convocation: We have the honor of hosting the NALC Convocation in Pittsburgh this year! We need volunteers to help August 4th - 8th. If you are able to help at all, please let Pastor Joyce or Pastor Matthew know.
Christian Mom's Group: We are excited to announce a new group that we are starting...Christian Moms! Because when life gets messy you need someone to get coffee with and talk about Jesus. If you would like to be added to the Facebook page please message Morgan. We hope to see lots of moms and kids come out to our events!

Mid-Northeast Mission District WNALC Spring Gathering: April 5 from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm at St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Butler. Guest Speaker: Jared Lenhart - Frontier Harvest Ministries. Lunch $10. Christ Gastown/Mt. Union/Salem:
- Stations of the cross: at Mount Union Lutheran Church every Friday during Lent at 3 pm. beginning on March 7th.
- In-Tents Camp Mission Project: We are asking everyone to bring in $1.25/week (a cup of coffee) to donate towards the In-Tents Mission Project. The money will go towards buying supplies that will go to make Disaster Response kits. The campers will put together the kits and then donate them to the NALC Disaster Response.
- Be a "cut up": Calling all women. I have a LOT of fabric that needs to be cut into squares. As a Lenten project, we will meet on Tuesday afternoons during Lent beginning March 11th to cut fabric, sort the squares and prepare them for sewing. We will meet at Salem Lutheran Church at 1:00 pm. If you want a ride, Pastor Joyce will be leaving the Elderton parsonage at 12:30 pm. Let her know if you need a ride.
- WANTED Cake Recipe: There was a Chocolate cake with Peanut Butter icing donated for the Altman funeral dinner. If you're willing to share your recipe please give it to Theresa. We have one of the family members that would like to have the recipe. (They said it was delicious.) Thank you!
- Lasagna Dinner: Salem is having a lasagna night on Saturday, March 29th at 6 pm. The menu will include lasagna, rolls, tossed salad, drink, applesauce, and Pastor Joyce's slider cake. Anyone who wants to attend should sign the sheet at Salem or RSVP to Sandy Alabran at 724-286-9856 or cell 814-952-9831 by Sunday, March 23rd.
